MANDATORY ORIENTATION on 18 February 1730 – 2130 hrs

COURSE DATES (Fridays) on February 28 & March 1, 14, 15, 2026 from 730 – 1630 hrs

EXAM DATES on March 28, 0700 – 1700hrs

LOCATION: Penobscot County, Eastern Maine Community College at 354 Hogan Road, Bangor

FEE: $250 In-State / $500 Out-of-State

To qualify for Pro Board Certification, candidates must provide proof of: Fire Fighter I & II, Fire Instructor I, ICS-100 & ICS-200, five (5) years of fire service experience. Candidates who do not possess all the Pro Board prerequisites, but are current fire officers within Maine Departments with five years of fire service experience are encouraged to apply, with permission of their Fire Chief.

Prerequisites

Note: Candidates who do not possess all the prerequisite requirements listed are still encouraged to apply. However, five (5) years of credible fire service is highly recommended.
