FIRE OFFICER I

This course is designed for the first-line company officer/supervisor and satisfies the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, Chapter Four “Fire Officer I”. This course is structured around classroom lectures and group exercises to improve your abilities to manage a single fire company. This includes responsibilities such as the management, mentoring, and community relations. Upon completion of this course you are eligible to take the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) written exam and skills testing.

Mandatory attendance at all classes 
Dates: Tuesdays, October 8, 15, 22, 29 and November 12, 19
Time: 1700 – 2100 hours

Program Cost:  $250 In-State / $500 Out-of-State
