FIRE OFFICER I
This course is designed for the first-line company officer/supervisor and satisfies the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, Chapter Four “Fire Officer I”. This course is structured around classroom lectures and group exercises to improve your abilities to manage a single fire company. This includes responsibilities such as the management, mentoring, and community relations. Upon completion of this course you are eligible to take the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) written exam and skills testing.
Space limited to 18 candidates.

Prerequisites:
– Firefighter I & II
– Fire Instructor I
– 5 years of fire service experience
– ICS 100 & 200
Orientation: October 22nd 13-1800 hours
November 1st // 19-2000 hours (Zoom)
November 10th // 18-2100 hours
November 11th & 12th // 08-1700 hours
November 29th & December 13th // 19-2000 hours (Zoom)
December 16th // 09-Complete (Test & Simulations)
*Attendance at all classes is mandatory
