Maine & Florida are Back! We are excited to announce the Maine-Florida weekend at the National Fire Academy for 2024. As a combined weekend we are able to offer a wide range of courses. The courses at the National Fire Academy are not just for officers! Anyone who responses to calls can benefit from these courses. From a probationary firefighter to a chief officer, the weekend has something that can help improve your abilities either as a firefighter or fire officer. Additionally, it offers a unique experience to network and connect with firefighters in another state. The program continues to strengthen and enhance the emergency service community, while striving to meet the educational needs of our states. If you are wondering if this opportunity is worth the trip to Maryland, just ask anyone who has gone before. They will confirm that it is worth the trip! Finally, one important note is that this weekend will have one registration process for both states.
The deadline for submitting your application for the weekend is March 1st, 2024.
