Course description (F0455)
This 16 hour course is designed to meet the needs of Company Officers (COs)
responsible for managing the operations of one or more companies during
structural firefighting operations. This course is designed to develop the
management skills needed by COs to accomplish assigned tactics at structure
fires.
Selection criteria
Individuals attending this course should be senior firefighters who may at times
assume the responsibilities of the CO (National Fire Protection Association 1001,
Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, Level II).
Course Schedule: Jan. 15 & 17 2019 at 1800-2100 & Jan. 19 at 0830-1700
The program is free, all materials will be provided. Students should bring note taking
materials. Please refer to SMCC Weather announcements to ensure classes are running.
Contact Hours: 16 hrs. Class Size: Minimum 15 students / Maximum 30 students.
