We’re very excited to share that we’ve partnered with Alabama Fire College & Personnel Standards Commission to bring a 40-hour Live Fire Instructor / Instructor in Charge training program to Maine, in light of the 2019 NFPA 1041 Fire & Emergency Services Professional Qualifications standard changes.

There are two new chapters that specifically address “Live Fire Training” and we feel it is extremely important that we qualify several of our instructors and provide for a limited amount of municipal fire instructors to attend as well. Representatives of Alabama Fire College will be traveling all the way to Yarmouth to instruct and assist, and we will be conducting this program during the week in order to accommodate their schedules. Our plan is to build out a program of our own after our folks have attended this initial session and learned from the team from Alabama. We expect this new offering will be highly sought after in the future.
