A message from the Director:

I began working for MFSI, then MFTE, in 2001 while I was a career firefighter for the City of Waterville Fire Department.  As an instructor, the folks I got to meet and work with around the state were a huge inspiration to me on many levels.  That inspiration ultimately led me to my current position within the organization.  We strive to deliver the best training possible, provide opportunities and grow the organization, so that Maine fire service professionals can count on us to help them gain key professional qualifications.  This is a mission I believe in very deeply.  Please consider coming to work with us to raise the bar and make our fire service proud.

“If it is to be, it is up to US”
